2024 Jones 2.0

A Limited Edition Cabot 1911

In a grand homage to the legacy of precision and innovation, Cabot Guns is proud to introduce the limited edition Jones 2.0, a sublime evolution of our original flagship, the Jones 1911, first released in 2011. This exceptional series, limited to just five exclusive pieces for 2024, is a testament to the enduring craftsmanship and pioneering spirit that has defined the Cabot legacy.

Each Jones 2.0 is meticulously crafted from 4140 carbon steel, renowned for its resilience and strength. The pistol boasts an exclusive full dustcover frame and a “heavy profile” slide, meticulously engineered to update and elevate the silhouette of this iconic 1911. The result is a harmonious blend of traditional elegance and modern sophistication.

The Jones 2.0 features updated versions of our proprietary trinity cocking serrations, a nod to the slide checkering found on the original 1900 prototypes developed by John Moses Browning. These pioneering designs laid the groundwork for the 1911, marking a pivotal moment in firearms history. The trinity serrations on the Jones 2.0 not only honor this legacy but also enhance the user’s grip and control, merging form with function.

Only five Jones 2.0 pistols will be crafted for 2024, with serial numbers ranging from JONES1 to JONES5. A sixth, the one-of-a-kind Midnight Star, stands apart in its unique splendor. Each piece in this ultra-limited series is adorned with a 14kt gold bead front sight, a Stainless Damascus Steel Trigger, and Damascus Steel Grips, setting new standards for luxury in firearm design.

The 2024 Jones 2.0 is available in two exquisite finish levels: Full DLC with Satin Polished Flats and mirror-polished small parts, or our Full Deluxe DLC, which features a 2-micron hand polish for an unmatched sheen. These finishes not only protect and preserve the beauty of the pistol but also accentuate its refined lines and intricate details.

Each Jones 2.0 will be presented in a Cabot wood “book-case,” handcrafted by master craftsman Mark Huston in Pennsylvania. These cases, featuring the Cabot freedom fit interior, are designed not just to protect the pistol but to display it as the masterpiece it is. Each case is a work of art in itself, worthy of the treasure it holds.

The Jones 2.0 is more than a firearm; it is a piece of history, a work of art, and a testament to the relentless pursuit of perfection. For the discerning collector, the Jones 2.0 is not just an addition to a collection but a centerpiece, a conversation starter, and a legacy piece. Own a piece of the legacy that is Cabot Guns, where tradition meets innovation in the palm of your hand.

We are only producing 5 Jones 2.0s for 2024.  They will all have similar specifications but will have slightly different grips and finish levels.  For that reason, we will make them available for purchase as they are finished in order for each buyer to see the specific finish and grips on their pistol.  All remaining 2024 Jones 2.0s will be in 45acp, have full dustcover frames and slides and be finished in Black DLC.  The 2024 Jones 2.0s will also come with Damascus steel triggers and grips and each pistol will have a Mark Huston Book case shipped direct to each customer separate from the pistol.  All pistols must be shipped to an FFL for 4473 and transfer.
